Our Story
It all started in a 20' X 10' store on 600 South and 69 East in Salt Lake City in 1985. Utah Ski and Golf was orginally called Utah Ski Rentals then. In 1987 we moved to our current Downtown Salt Lake City location at 134 W. 600 S. We enjoyed great success there by offering our customers the unmatched Service, Outstanding poduct at a great prices. We went on to open 5 more stores. We were the only company to have Ski Shops in any Airport in the World, as far as we know. We also opened 2 stores in Park City and one in the Cottonwood area on Ft Union Blvd. On December 21st 1996 we were devistated by a fire at our flagship store downtown. It was a total loss. Fortunatly we rebuilt and sarted over in the same location where we still employ the same concepts that helped us grow from the start. In 2003, we pulled out of of the Airport locations, but our other 4 stores are still running strong. Thank you to all those who have and continue to do business with us.
